I have this on my 150g total also. I dont think its too big. I cant believe this skimmer is still here.

its an excellent high quality skimmer/ great work horse and quiet and efficient.

Skimmer still available, Like to sell it, last item form my tank shutdown, its in great shape, has just over 3 yrs use on it, kept clean and maintanined/pump was recently replaced new from J& L with same Red Dragon pump as original, great efficient well built skimmer,
