I see the most ridiculous prices on kijiji sometimes. Makes me wonder if they bought it at those prices, or if they are truely just trying to make major profit. Like a normal blue tang. Recently saw one on there for $180. Not sure who would pay $180 for one of the more common tangs...but I sure wouldnt. And a 50 gallon with barely any equipment, a canister filter and live rock for $1750. C'mon!

![]() I paid 11$/lb for live rock in 2004...
Now I sell it for 3$/lb. There is a sucker born every minute, a lot of them hang out at the aquarium store. |

![]() Sadly that piece is long gone. But seriously is that not the coolest Tunicate sponge ever? I hope it is still lurking somewhere in my system. What happened with that rock and sponge I can't remember it probably went with the GSP.

![]() There are a few Edmonton buy & sell Facebook pages for SW and GSP sells real fast and always has people asking for it. I think beginners like it because it's pretty much indestructible and grows fast, gives them a sense of accomplishment and they keep going in the hobby. I've seen a lot of people get out of the hobby because they started off with hard to keep corals and lost interest when everything died in a couple of weeks. I usually have a single rock by itself with GSP on it, if somebody wants some I suggest they do the same and then they can sell their first frag before to long.
