Those light golds are hard to get photos of. But I do have that one all ready. Actually I think there are like 3 separate colonies going in my tank right now...
I don't have a splatter frogspawn or toxic or whatever the hell people decide they are calling it to increase the price. Do have a splatter hammer.

I can't justify buying an aussie gold from a fellow reefer if their trying to charge more then the vendors sell it for.... we're supposed to help each other out and make frags more available. Not charge more then the businesses selling it. Having bought one myself from a vendor I know what they go for. I think Canada corals has 1 right now.... I'm sure others do too.
Mine just happened to die and took my orange tip with it. or the other way around, either way. Gotta replace it lol.
I just bought a new skimmer... My visa is crying with this new tank, I cant afford a $500 + coral order from a vendor right now or it would all ready be on its way to my tank.

I think ive got the standard of everything haha just need more of the "unique"

I should add
~~~~ If I have previously sold you what I called "Green tip Green torch" I would love to buy a head of that particular torch from you.
Please see Item 13 in my for sale post http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/sho...d.php?t=106229
This is one of my fave frogspawns.... Aside from my orange tip green that's slowly regrowing from my torch wipe out. (once again the lighter oranges and golds never photograph well unless you're into photoshop)
The orange tip green
This is what I have right now for "gold torch" Looks more gold on the vendors website then you get it in your tank....
Got 2-3 of this type of Octo... all very slightly different shades of green LOL
I have a few "rainbow" ones. All different. And once again, nothing like the vendors site they were ordered from But I do have a greenish ones with the gold hue, "rainbow" that one actually looks the way it was supposed to. And the other raindbow ish one that is more.... blended from 1 colour to the other?
I don't really follow the whole BS about following the same made up name. Because some vendors try and upsell the same coral with a fancier name. I prefer calling them what they actually are.... "Mandarin Sawg" will be "Orange tip Green".... I keep seeing the same image on some vendors sites... and the name keeps changing and with the name the price changes....
I guess there wouldn't have been much to see when you picked up your order, I was still transferring everything to the new tank....
I did end up ordering one of those, and I can see the orange tips. Its like my orange hammer and my Orange tip purple I used to have. Impossible to photograph. But under the right lights its there.
Given my stuff has all come from numerous vendors, id say everyones about the same in terms of what the photos look like for the rarer euphyllia and what it looks like in my tank.
heres my "Mandarin swag" torch in the middle. Can kinda see the orange tips, its much nicer in person. Again lighting will come into play. In the front right is one of the "rainbows"
I swear I'm going to figure out the right settings on my lights and my camera by next weekend.... or try.
