Try home depot, they have ones used for humidifier for about $6, works great, I've been using one for almost a year without any issues.

Hey Wil is that a float valve or a float switch?
If it is a switch, do you know the Amp rating on it?

The "Wait" brand float valves at Home Depot are $6 - $7. I've never seen a float switch there. Have you tried Aquaria.ca? They sell them for $10each believe.
