Yes they will. They just won't grow very quickly.

I don't feed the mother colony. I just feed the frags so they heal faster and grow a bit before I sell them.

I was thinking about that. I keep seeing posts from people "buying themselves a gift", so I figured this would be a good one. If it doesn't get any bids this year, I'll try next year. If not, I'll just sell it locally, I was just trying to get some action in the auction forum.
