Maybe comb through the old threads for nice photos of people's tanks, livestock, etc. and have a "Blast from the Past" section. Don't know if there are any copyright or legal issues since those pics would already have been posted on Canreef.

I thought it was closer to the Marianas trench?

Some suggestions

See if vendors will do a monthly thread on equipment profiles (Showcase random equipment and products and their benefits)

Hints and tricks to aquascaping, coral placement, cheap solutions to expensive fixes and so on

New innovations in the hobby

Member stories (ie. Funny things that have happened to them, proudest moments in the hobby...lots of threads on the site about these and others)

A monthly byline by someone different every month about how they got into the hobby and what keeps them going, how they setup their tanks and why they did so and so on
