Well if sentinel does not work you can try bayer complete insect killer.
Only in QT though, it will kill fish and inverts.
It is supposed to kill AEFW and red bugs.
Google it, lots of hits

Unfortunately I don't have QT tank, so I'm not able to do your solution.
