![]() I love those bowfront tanks! I don't know if it's just the pic, but it looks like the silicone is chewed up in the front vertical corner. If that's the case, you may want to remove the chewed up edges and re-do them.

![]() So I never paid much mind till tonight but sometime in the past somebody cut the 2 crossbraces on top of the tank I have a question do I need to worry about the missing cross bracing or was it more for holding lighting and such up?
If I need to worry about it what would you suggest to shore up the bracing? ![]()

![]() Get some scrap acrylic and a couple of nylon screws and nuts and drill holes in whats left of the old bracing and the acrylic and then attach. 100% safe and easy to do. I've done it myself in the past and you can find tons of examples if you google "replacing center brace with acrylic".
