![]() I am in the process of setting up my new tank. I had a custom steel stand made. My tank came with a very thin rubber mat preinstalled. When i placed the tank on the stand i could see a very small gap at one corner, between the stand and tank. (enough to see light through it). Will this be a concern down the road or will the weight of the tank filled compress the foam pad enough to fill this slight gap. I was also thinking of maybe adding a yoga mat under the tank . I don't like the unsightly look of the typical pink styrofoam so i figured a nice quality neoprene yoga mat would look better

![]() I used a yoga matt under my 33 gallon and it worked very well assuring small gaps getting support, believe they are available in blue or black. Canadian Tire.

![]() I ordered a thick yoga mat from Amazon for $20, you can pick your colour (I chose white to match the stand) and it has worked great so far. Peace of mind.

![]() probably not a concern as to how much a gap it really is but peace of mind knowing the tank won't blow out on me
