I had a nem go for a walk into my MP10 blender. =(
came home to a cloudy tank and everyone ****ed off.
few bags of purigen later and 25 gallons of water change everyone seems OK....
Still finding chunks of nem floating around though.

who's next on the disaster list?

The gaskets definitely age and temperatures can have an effect. Not to mention salt water itself breaks down near everything with time. If its not leaking now that you tightened it I'm sure you have many years before its an issue.

Yeah, that's sort of what I figured. It's been good now since I tightened (by hand only) it again. I guess I should have tightened it a bit more when I first installed it. Now am a little concerned about my other overflow, as I can't get at it either without cutting out a bigger hole in the wall from behind.
