you dont need sch 80 for any fish tank application unless you want the grey look. sch 40 is plenty and adapts to any sch 80 fitting

I don't even use that, I just get that thin wall stuff. Even cheaper!

Sch40 is OK for pipe, but when it comes to fittings you need to look inside to see the clearance
"Skid40" fittings have a much smaller opening compared to Skid80 fittings

I hate the white ones ... Sch40 are restrictive
Compare the insides of them against Sch80 and you'll see what I mean. Big difference

Greg think your confused sch80 pipe is a bit smaller inside but outside diameter is the same so sch 80 pipe will work with sch40 fitting. Sch80 fitting are same inside size but the outside of the fittings are bigger. Sch80 would be the most restricting but so little diffrence I think that's irrelevant. Also sch80is crazy overkill on aquariums unless your looking for the grey look your just wasting your money.in plumbing only time I really use sch80 PVC is under warehouses for potable water before they build. sch80 is super thick pipe therefore will not crack or break as easy plus less susceptible to freezing. I know your looking for a small piece but if you can not find it corix will sell you a full length for cheap and there all over bc good luck.
