I could have made my own battery backup, but electronics DIY is one of my least favourite things... and this comes all assembled and purdy and ready to mount. I'm pretty happy shipping was free from ReefSupplies, because this thing weighs a ton!

I will also be doing a thread documenting the install of the QD, including before and after testing with a sound meter. Here's a preview: 3 feet from the MP40wES running surf crest at 50%.

Its always nice to get things in the mail. How did you manage not to install everything once you opened it.

Yup, just the driver. Didn't feel like shelling out for a whole new whiz-ding.

My wife gave me crabs today... well, just 1 crab.

I usually hit Nanaimo twice a year... any requests? Once they're grown out a bit I mean.

My new Acro frag from Peter is awesome!



Anyone have any idea what these might be. Thousands everywhere. Trochus snail eggs? Best picture I could get.
