I looked up Halimeda and researched it on ReefAquaria once Daplatapus ID it. It does use up some calcium and grows fairly quickly. I will watch it and see what happens. It is kinda "pretty" on the rock, but if it grows too quickly, a hefty trim kills it apparently, or so says the ReefAquaria article. Yes, I do know it is Aptasia. I have 3 or 4 of them and waitng for some Berghias to arrive, or I can use my "Magic" Aptasia wand to get rid of them.. I looked up Lobophora. It looks kind of similar, like you said, but nothing concrete to go by, from any of the pics I found online. "MadReefer" It is the other thing I am trying to ID. I do know the other is Aptasia. Thanks for the responses, I appreciate them. Last edited by reefwithareefer; 04-27-2015 at 02:14 AM. |
