Er...I don't think it's a good idea to TTM rocks & coral...corals will be SUPER stressed and I'm not moving 200lbs of live rock with you every 3 days x 3

Never mind, just found out on RC that TTM won't kill ich on rocks. 72 days fallow it is.

At least we get to look at our shrimps and snails

Is it okay to use just a couple of big rubbermaid rectangular tubs for TTM? Or do I need actual aquarium tanks to do it?

Yup, anything that'll hold water and is easy to disinfect between runs.

Default Things are getting real

Daniel (target) delivered the stand today. With the help of a dolly, the two of us got it inside the house relatively easily. My worries were unfounded.

The stand looks absolutely amazing, great handiwork and feels extremely sturdy.

The doors have yet to be installed yet due to time constraints but that works out well since tomorrow is the big setup day and I don't need any doors getting in the way at the moment.

And here's the "living" room.

(several unpictured tubs for more saltwater ready for tomorrow)

Haha thanks. Except the plan didn't really turn out like the model. Oh well, we like it as it is right now.

Just sucks that there's no fish, but gotta do the fallow, for the long term health of the fish. In the meantime, looking at inverts has become pretty interesting, actually.

Invert list:

RBTA
sebae anem
porcelain crab (hosted by RBTA)
3x serpent sea stars (man, these guys are EFFICIENT and fast when leftover mysis is on the sandbed!)
2x peppermint shrimp
cleaner shrimp (this guy molts pretty often)
blood red fire shrimp
many snails of various kinds
red legged hermit crab (had another big one but it went ballistic on the snails so was taken out)
blue legged hermit crab
stomatella (speedy!)

Thinking of picking up a pompom crab. No urchins for me, thank you.

Any other suggested inverts to add?
