![]() For what it's worth, I have two Hydra 52s and two regular Hydras and I prefer the regular Hydra over the 52s. IME it's not worth the extra money.

![]() Well my tank is 5' and if I would have went with the Hydra 26 than I would require 8 of them fixtures. I believe the Hydra52 is around $650 each and the regular Hydra is $399 each. Not sure how much the 26 is but best bang for your buck is the regular ones.

![]() A hydra 26 will cover 2' x 2' of bottom.
8 fixtures would be overkill to the max and then one step further! 3 would give you great coverage with nice overlap on a 5' tank If you want to come check mine out we can fire it up and you can see for yourself Last edited by davej; 02-13-2015 at 04:21 AM. |

![]() Personally I wouldnt put a nano tank light over your tank, you'll be diappointed and end up buying more anyways.
