I've used Jager's going on 25 years, for all the reasons you pointed out. Probably will never switch.

I have about 12 Jagers from 100-300W and they all vary around 5-10 years old. I just recently lost one (quit heating) and that's the first Jager I've ever lost. I also have about 6 VisiTherm 25 & 50W heaters. They have been performing just as well.

Looks like Jager is very popular, does anyone run heaters with a controller or just use the on board stat?
