![]() Hey There,
So here it is. The huge pendant is lighted! ![]() ![]() Should I be worried about the small deflection on the PVc pipe? It's 3/4" PVC Sch 40 pipe. The deflection is actually not as bad if you look directly from the front. Here are some pictures when I just got my sps corals... when their colour were still... nice. Pictures taken under AI Sol Blue but light was adjusted so that they look like what they are in the MH tank that I got them from. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pictures taken as of today under new MH light after the corals has been in my tank for about a month. After a chemical warfare, high nitrate, probably too much blue light from the Sol and brown jelly disease as a result of the chemical warfare. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope the colours will come back soon on my corals. The red planet is actually starting to encrust onto the putty. |

![]() I'm hanging it higher to let my corals slowly adjust to the light. The pendant and socket is hung on an adjustable chain so I can lower it if I need to.

![]() When I had my Lumen Brite pendant set up, I suspended a black egg crate panel in front of it . It really helped to keep the light spillage down. Can also use white egg crate and paint it black with Krylon Fusion spray paint.

![]() Hi Sebae,
Thanks for your advice. I was thinking what to use if the light is too much for my corals. |
