![]() Haha, Yesssss. My lil package came today.
I can not believe it got here so quick. I have ordered from some of the more well known online stores in the USA and every time it has taken a minimum of 10 days to get to Sumas WA, where I go and pick it up. One time I tried having it delivered to my door and it took over three weeks to arrive and it was only an impeller for my Red Dragon skimmer pump. This stuff was shipped from Hong Kong Last Monday and it was at my local post office yesterday!!! WOW! Pretty impressive So these are the goods and the prices.. Jebao Twins Linkage Controller Select Controller: Package RW-20 (+ $140.00) $140.00 This is 2 WP20s and the twin controller for 140 bucks! Jebao RW/ FS/ wp20 Replacement Kits Extension Cord (100cm) $10.00 Boyu Water Level Alarm $4.00 Liquid Box 3Room(4.5Litres) $22.50 Apex / GHL to Jebao RW DC WP Pump $34.99 ![]() ![]() So that was 254.63 all in. Shipping, US dollar exchange etc. Not sure of the quality, but they seem well built and quality items. Time will tell. |

I do not think it will sag, but I will probably put a post in the center, as I want to put doors on it anyways. It was actually only a 2x4 full height wall, till the GF thought a saltwater tank would be nice... I cut out the wall, widened it to 27" wide etc etc. Ended up hacking it up a bit to install all the gear downstairs, as I had no idea the gear etc needed for this hobby. |

![]() Not sure if anyone wnts to chime in and offer an opinion, but I am not sure if this is the way to go or not.
This is how I want to set up my return pumps... ![]() I have pan world 250 PS running for my 180 gal that will be coming down. I have a spare Panworld 150Ps The 250 is good for 1900 GPH and the 150 is rated at 1100 GPH. I figure with head pressure etc etc. I should be good for 2400GPH I figure I can have them hooked up to the Apex, which will allow me to have one or both pumps running at the same time. My thinking is that there will be a built in spare, so if one dies, the other is there I was also thinking that I could just run the smaller one at night and the larger during the day, or even both during the day. I think it gives me options and I can not see a downfall. Anyone want to offer up some advice or concerns? |

![]() Sounds like a good plan with the return pumps. I wouldn't turn any return pumps off at night. It's the powerheads (if anything) that should slow down for the night.
Sounds like the wall will be good too. It doesn't look like you've modified it at all (which is good haha). |

Thanks Myka, I was just thinking of turning off the 250 and leaving the 150 on. You do not think that is enough? I have only been reefing for less than a year now, so still learning. My idea was to run a 3/4" pipe from one end of the tank to the other under the canopy. I would then install 6 or so 1/2" or 3/4" loc lines with different nozzles on them for returns. I think I will put shut off valves on each one to control flow. Not sure if they should all point in one direction or random... I was a carpenter for 20 years, so I am hoping I learned a few things..Alot of weight on it. Last edited by reefwithareefer; 01-14-2015 at 02:04 AM. |
