![]() I can't see those last pics - it says the photos have been moved or deleted. Great idea though, I like the floating "stand"!

![]() i love the floating stand idea i once considered trying it but chickened out. those rock nems look great.
even if your rear 2x4 is screwed into studs i'd still be fearful about all the downward force the tank will put on those screws. even a small tank weighs a lot and with the cantilever a bump into it or someone resting a rand on it could have bad results. also, the manner which you angled those others screws in split the wood and all of the forward weight of the tank would be applying a lot of pressure on those connections. i'm in no way trying to be negative but i was surprised nobody else thought this looked a bit dangerous. do you have a cover over the upwards pointing outlet? also seems a bit sketchy considering how easy it is for splashes to occur. again i really like the idea maybe i'm worried for nothing =) |

![]() I stood on this stand it not going anywhere I have zero worries about that. The plug yeah your right could at least put cover on not that worried because it's tied into my main system only thing I plug in is the light. I don't put my hands in the tank I feed with long tweezers water changes are done at the sump in garage.by the way something I did not picture or mention I put at 2x4 from stud to stud behind wall that my frame screws into its not supported just on studs that would scare me.
