not sure the amount of water you go through but might find you recover that $65 rather fast compared to buying (and packing) water from the store

I would agree. Its rubbish having to pay extra when you didn't expect it but I'd pay $65 any day over hundreds of trips to safeway

i use the faucet adapter, so when im not using the system what do i do with it? put it away wet or drain it or what? ive never used one of these things before so maybe i don't even have it hooked up right or something. i don't know anything about it.

The RO membrane needs to stay wet.
So put it away wet.

I actually found a tap outside of my house in the back that will run it at 45psi so I may not need the booster. I'll probably end up buying it anyways though
