![]() Thanks for the responses. Tank is all good now. I am a dumbass and switched the jugs by accident and was dosing Ca manually. Alk is coming up nicely now and the calcium is down to 470. Things look okay so hoping I didn't damage anything too seriously. Have to make sure I am not tired when I do things to my tank.

![]() Hi Leanne,
Kudos to you. It is good that you are humble enough to admit your mistake and learn from it. :-) You might want to take a sharpie and mark which jug is Ca and Alk. It gets frustrating when your tired and you pour the Alk into the Ca jug and it turns into something resembling skim milk. ;-) Cheers, Tim

![]() Haha!! Yes, I think that we all do dumb things and shake our heads after! I know that I have heard much better stories than mine!
I am having a hard time getting my alk back up. I seem to be stalled at 6.4. Corals seem fine but my anenome is not very happy. Just dosed a bit more Mag to see if that helps and added another second on the doser. Any other suggestions? |
