I'm going to try them out instead of the reef octopus (last second change of heart). I hope you are right about them. My guy says the curve 7 fits my tank and sump well. I have heard that 8 inch sump water height is ideal for it, or it may be a bit finicky.

You wont be dissapointed its hard finding an honest bad review.

8" is a good starting point, tweak i from there based on your own tanks needs.
