I like how this "war" favia is now pooling at the bottom of the blue streak.

Default A few fish shots

I'll start with some Leopard Wrasse pix -
Mister

Mrs.

Trying to shoot the wrasses but the tangs are camera hogs.

My pigmy wrasse is very shy and rarely comes out of the caves far enough to get a photo -
the mystery wrasse hassles it every chance it gets.

Thanks Brett - I think it is your tank sitting skills that are making the difference.
Yes the pigmy is pretty cool, I've had it for a few months and seems to be healthy but I wish the mystery wrasse would leave it alone so it would come out more.

I have a war favia that is doing the same thing and looks very similar. It also has that blue streak. I first thought it had a problem and was going to bleach out on me. But then it just kept growing, along with the blue streak. So I guess that is a natural characteristic of this coral??

Also, what light does yours get?

Solutions are easy. The real difficulty lies in discovering the problem.

Yes that is a definite characteristic of this favia species, they get a color mix - hence the "war coral" name - two colors battling it out. Mine is near the bottom of the tank so the light is fairly low in intensity.
