So it's been way too long since I've updated this thread. The tank is doing well. I had a little bout with Cyano a while back and after trying all the natural methods, decided to treat.
I've reached the stage where I'm getting some battles between corals and so I need to do a little cleanup to deal with it. Dreading that job as it's tough to decide who stays and who goes. Here are some pics of how it sits now.

What did you treat with? What happened to your pod population while this was happening?

I used chemiclean at a slightly weaker dose than suggested. My problem wasn't terrible, just more than I could tolerate. The pod population appears fine...still everywhere.

Thanks everyone. I love how it's coming together. At first I was nervous about how much water space I left above the rock but now that the coral is growing in...it's taken shape nicely.
