![]() Highly unlikely that thermometer uses mercury, might still find a mercury thermometer in certain applications but any hobby grade glass thermometer will be alcohol filled. Easy to tell the difference, mercury is silver and metallic with a large bubble of it on the bottom, anything else would be alcohol.
