Seahorse death clear mucus found

I've read that sometimes when a fish dies the bacteria goes nuts and ends up creating that clear/white goo encasement to decompose it.

maybe that is it?

There is a worm that is smooth in bodily and fast moving...cannot remember the name but it will come to me...it usually releases mucus like gelly over its pray then eats it by desolving.
Not much belp but iy might be just that.if so I would try to remove that worm.

I'm convinced it's something in the tank then. I've never come across it either. Good thing the tank is only for quarantine and not a display because it's getting torn apart tonight!
