Regarding fish stores - it depends on what you are wanting to see and if you are shopping or just sight seeing.

I would love to shop few corals but we will be overnighting 3 more nights on the way back to home. Still I enjoy to see different stores.

I don't think you can ride horses at spruce meadows. Been a while since I've been there. It's a horse racing track.

Thanks. I've checked spruce meadow and found no riding. Rafter 6 sounds great but it's in Kananaskis, so it's little difficult for us to go there. However this is good for back up plan. Thanks again.

Speaking of Kananaskis that's what I'd recommend, an hour from Calgary and much more peaceful. Took this pic last time I was fishing there, not a sole in sight. Much less stressful than commuting around the city although the kids may get a little board but I'm pretty sure that's why Calaway park is on the way

That's Upper Kananaskis Lake so past the lodge a little. Barrier is probably the one you're thinking of which is nice too but not as quiet.

Yes there is a nice trail that loops the hole lake, it's 15.7km long though so it's considered intermediate but it won't be a difficult trail, just long. There's a shorter trail at lower lake (which is next to upper) and a bunch more of course throughout Kananaskis.
