![]() Yes you can dose iodine. Zeovit makes a couple types:
Iodine Complex and, the one I use Potassium Iodide Fluoride Concentrate. You don't NEED to use them, but it does help improve color and health in some corals. Lugols solution is iodine, and is often added to tanks. |

![]() I have to say that I do believe now when they say that shrimps need iodine too as one of my cleaner shrimps almost had no antennas left and he started growing algae on his shell. I started dosing iodine in the last week or so and he just molted this morning with almost normal antennas again. I am just wondering why my iodine is so low when it seems like this isn't that common of a problem with the shrimps. My other corals are doing great with the exception of my bubble.
