![]() So, after another episode of stoopid, I made my stand frame too big to fit in the house once it's finished. So I'm thinking of finishing the top separately and attaching it using brackets from the inside once it all comes in the house.
Anyone see any problem with that? Bottom of stand is full sheet of plywood, and sides all plywood. Not the exact design I had in mind, but I could go with a countertop type design. I guess. I'm dumb.

![]() LOL, this was going to be my thought too! My 7' x 2' x 2' (plus 8" full overflow) is 2" clearance for the window that it was designed as large as possible to come in through

![]() I would remove the window, but it's an older house and I'm not sure I could put it back together in a way that she wouldn't notice.
As a backup plan, she's ok with me finishing the stand in the house, but I'd have to tarp myself in to do the router work.

![]() too big if you take the door off?if you're putting foam under your tank then you can just screw the top down(countersink).or if you're painting the top you can fill the holes with dynapatch and paint over them after sanding

![]() Don't think brackets are required. Once the water is in the tank it ain't moving
