![]() Ya it was doing great then Steve. Had a little carpet algae starting. Tried to keep it clean but it just got worse, to now where it covers most of my rock.
Its just so disheartening after all the thought and expense that went into it.

![]() All new Pukani, that you told me you would not go with. It was well cycled and a large amount of gfo used during and after.

![]() I suppose I could do that. Would have to order it as none around here at a reasonable price. Lots of fragging to do also, as many of my corals are well encrusted already.

![]() Never in 30 plus yrs. of saltwater and 25 reefing, have I seen an algae plague such as this. Besides the carpet, there is fast growing longer algae, stringy and attaching to corals. Not like anything I seen before.
Lost several coals already and moved many to my 30g to save them. Dont seem to bother the clams or chalice. High end equipment sale coming up.
