Freshwater dipping live rock

I just went through the same thing. If you dip your rocks I'm pretty sure they will start to cycle again. Depends how long you dip for, and how much of the live bacteria you kill off. But if your starting over, your going to get a cycle anyways so you shouldn't have much to worry about. However to beat dinos, i just did 80% WC day one 90% WC day 2 60% WC day3 and 50% day 4. Has worked twice for me now without having to do anything to overkill to my tank.
