You can buy a screen kit from BRS.
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/catalo.../view/id/2094/ They have it in 1/4" or 1/2" netting. 1/2" would be just fine. I lost a Harlequin Tuskfish while on holidays once and have had a screen on my tank ever since.

Home Depot or lowes, window screen kit to build your own, the screen material you can get from Canadian tire for fairly cheap in the outdoor section I think it's labelled plastic chicken mesh or the likes....
