![]() +1
Sorry i don't have experience getting rid of them. Do you think they have something to do with the fish disappearing? I have 15 at least and actually quite like them, even feed them once in a while. Not epic proportions though so i guess that could be annoying. |

![]() Haha your crazy man. From what iv read, these things produce like mushrooms and will sting and eat anything they can grab with their tentacles. I certainly think it has something to do with the missing fish as there is really nowhere else it could have gone. Its a sealed tank and there are no predators in it at all (That we know of anyways) Iv seen pics online of these things eating clownfish.

![]() Maybe we have a different species?! They must be larger at least as there's no way mine could eat a fish, maybe 1/4" at the base and 1/2" tentacles when open fully at night
If only someone local had a "freakin laser beam" they could lend you ![]() |

![]() Search up pseudocorynactis. They are not anemones but are more closely related to mushroom corals.
I have read that some are not vigorous eaters but some are. Some are harmless and some have reported missing fish because of these. I have one and I have never lost a fish but it is in a spot where fish doesn't swim there often. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYwcX6AVw5I @0:56 talks about the pseudocorynactis Hope that helps... Also if I may, from the pictures, it looks like yours are quite small so I don't think they are your culprit for your fish loss... but then again.. what do I know Last edited by miuYH; 03-10-2014 at 10:25 PM. |

![]() Since the tank is new and would be easy to remove corals and zoas im wondering if there is a fish or invert or something that would eliminate these things efficiently??
