There's no shipping discount for these buys. The shipping will be what it normally is (ridiculous) lol. That said I still buy from BRS. Bulk items like chemicals are where you'll see the most savings.

C'mon everyone, we need 6 more for the group buy. There's gotta be some folks needing some sweet BRS chems, media, reactors, DIY stuff, etc.

other advantage of getting in on the group buy you become a 'preferred reefer' from the start for discounts. If you go it alone, you need 3 orders before preferred status.

This is true. I used to avoid group buys because I thought the discounts were exactly the same as my existing preferred member discounts but they are deeper. Still worthwhile for preferred members to do these.
