Unless you can find a breeder selling captive bred pipe fish, as well as captive bred seahorses, it is NOT good to attempt the two together.
Successes with both seahorses and pipe fish are worse than trying two different seahorse species together. You have better luck with pipe fish in a reef tank, depending on the type of pipe fish.

Here are a couple pics from today. I think it's safe to say they are trained to the feeding dish!

wow amazing I love seahorses.
I have the same ones and they are doing great, over a year now. I cant get them to eat anything other than frozen Mysis. But I have fed them live small fresh water shrimp and they go crazy for them although I would not recommend it as it introduces all sorts of unknown's to the tank.
