that sounds good and all but i dont have room under my stand thats why im thinking LED

yes it probably will grow using the stunners,red led really helps algae grow

I bought a UFO LED one an it grows incredible algae. Just search LED UFO lights. I bought mine on ebay pretty cheap.

The light you were initially looking at is 5w... Not that much light...

im leaning more to the stunner strips by ecoxotic.com, i just am limited with space, and i dont want to waste my money if the things wont even grow algae

if you are looking to get the same growth as you have now go with leds at just over half the wattage you have now in your cfl bulb. If you are looking to improve growth go with wattage around the same as you have now and it will be a very noticeable difference. Just make sure you have a grow type spectrum with mostly red , a little blue and a little white (a uv or 2 would not hurt either).
