we tried the point the blower trick and it ended up in the blower the next night... best is to completely disturb the rock hes on (move it out in the open or in complete darkess, whichever is opposite) and cover up the intake on your blowers, check on him at night and you will find hes loose or wandering...

Or you can just rub its foot until it lets go. If you can get to it of course. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes sometimes it takes 20, but if you can rub even a tiny bit of the foot it will work. in my experiences anyway

i removed few of my RBTA and GBTA i took out the LR and hold it out of the water and use turkey baster blow water on it till it come off the LR

Ice cube on the foot, or an air pump with the air hose bubbling on the foot
