![]() 'hulk' and 'purple' are trade names and have little to do with the genetics of the actual coral. Are those the same species? I would have thought anything that wasn't the same species would have killed each other?

![]() could it be that each mother had a different clade of zooxanthelae (spelling) and when the two pieces were put together they shared?
that might explain it as i have seen it myself in palys |

![]() I dunno. Mybe its cuz I glued them as single polyps so it was easier for them to be compatible with each other? I will experiment with different colours n different size frags to see what else can magically happen =)
