Every large one I have seen has the blotches on there face, not sure if its a form of hlle. In my experience every one I have had would be considered special, very unique personalitys and there scared of there shadow. Mine hurts its face when the 8 inch regal try's to fit into a 3 inch hole to hide, he gets his nose in and the rest of him hangs out and he thinks he's hidden.

The Emp is 6" had him for almost a year. 9-10 months i think. The only fish in the tank are 2 clarkii clowns, 1 Hippo Tang and 1 Emperor Angel. I have a Bluethroat Trigger and a Foxface in QTright now. Don't plan on adding much more. Thanks again! |

I'm a huge fan of the Emperor , he or she is very nice
