If you use both test vials, putting reagents in one and tank water in the other there is no 3 minute race.

I have done it and never got accurate reading. The initial phase checks the clarity of the vial and the water in it and no two vials will have the same clarity.

i get same results give or take a point on my hannas, test after test, not sure what everyones issue is with them seems to work flawless for me i guess i got lucky lol

I think its due to the fact that I always miss some bits of the reagent. Those things are extremely hard to pour!

I don't see how you can't get all the reagent in the vial unless you are drunk or micheal j fox
