Coral identification

Galaxia coral , very nasty sting indeed with super long sweepers , but nice to look at .

Never seen galaxia grow like that, looks like a gorgonian that stings sorry no idea

It's rigid but flexible... Kinda like a gorgonian. The tips are very glassy when the polyps are in. In Situ, not likely it's in my garbage can after stinging me so bad I had welts for a month...

egads, that sounds like fire coral, but I've never seen a picture of a fire coral that looks exactly like that.
