I'm a huge 80-90s metal fan. As I'm reading this thread my wife just tells me she bought tickets to Lady Gaga and that I'm going with her. I tried to argue my way out but apparently she says she's gone to all my "crap" and I owe her. Dammit!!!

Lots of great bands in this thread!

One thing is for sure, what used to be metal back in the day is now considered mellow. Music sure has changed, but certainly not for the better lol

Love me some metal all the way from Maiden and Deep Purple to cookie monster death metal like Devil Drivers' Before the Hangmans' Noose .

Metallica, Priest and AC/DC were the ONLY bands worth listening to through the 80s farking hair bands.

Lately, its been Godsmack, TOAD, BFMV, Korn.....a bit nostalgic I guess.

Depends on what kind of metal you're talking about. I loved the 80's hair metal Sunset Strip era. My absolute, #1, favourite band of all time...Motley Crue.
