How many and which models of these lights would I need for a 48"x18"x20" tank?

Will they support SPS?

Update: has anyone else found the mounting hardware to be absolute crap? I'm
Having nothing but troubles with mine. Always failing and has caused the light to fall twice. Extremely unhappy with this as I'm worried it's gonna fall when I'm not around and cause a fire. The light was what I was looking for but now with these new problems I would NOT recommend these to anyone as there a disaster waiting to happen. Until new mounting hardware is designed and supplied. STAY AWAY! You have been warned

Are you using the legs or the screw mounts? Haven't heard any other problems like this.

I used the screw mounts and mounted under my canopy and one side pulled out of the grooves it's "suppose" to attach to and actually fell in the water got about 15 seconds before I got it so then I switched the legs it came with and same thing one side fell out of the grooves it's "suppose" to attach to and it fell but luckily did not land in the water. There are no acrual screw holes to securely attach to just the magical "grooves". Extremely disappointed in this product. DO NOT BUY! You WILL regret it.

If you contact ecoxotic they will send you another one under warranty. Sounds like you got the wrong screw size or something.
