![]() There are several kinds of of Hydnophora. The most popular are Branching (sp.) and Encrusting (exesa). Like any coral in the hobby; it`s the colouration and uniqueness in pattern that may make certain ones more desirable. Both varieties are very aggressive towards their neighbours. The ``fuzzyness`` of the polyps look great in the current and lighting.

![]() There are many hynophora species, if I am not mistaken Darryl purchased the original frag from me, these are not the greens ones you see everyday it's blue purple. The name slips my mind but when I was able to get a positive if a couple years back it was on the red list for collection.
