-not shure how old the skimmer is..but was running befor on a friends qt tank -water level is right on the mark -feed alittle brine to 3 blue greens - nothing added to tank thanks |

![]() i had to turn off skimmer and do a water change
then start it up again may be necessary to repeat soon you will get so its running properly again |

![]() ya that may be the issue turn the skimmer level down and let it run its course.

![]() You can lower the water level a bit too and that may help. The blue water line on the DOC skimmers is the maximum level, not the suggested level. When my 9016 was in my tank I usually had issues when the water was at the line vs. a little below it.
