Can you explain what the main differences are between these two skimmers:
Reef Octopus PRO SSS-DC1
Reef Octopus PRO SSS-DC2

Hi,

The main difference is size and capacity. The DC1 has a 6" body, a dc-3500 pump and is rated for 200gal. The DC2 has an 8" body, a dc-5500 pump and its rated for 400gal.

What size is your tank and would you say your bio-load is low, medium or elevated?

Thanks,

Ray
