I have the 160w razor as well. The fan only comes on for a few minutes at a time, and usually only when it is running close to full power. The entire light is essentially a heat sync so there is no reason it should be on that much.

Ok i got the explanation from YouTube, Marine Depot; they start only when needed. The wing shape design is suppose to dissipate most of the heat except when its on 100% then it uses the 2 fans when ever its too hot. I knew i couldn't be that unlucky, but man. I had 2 set back today........
