Another product worth trying would be coral snow. Possibly no effect on corals but makes the water sparkle like that vampire from twilight.

![]() The ones I use are:
Pohl's Xtra - Great for color and growth. Coral Snow - Keeps water clean which means healthier, more colorful corals. Sponge Power - Food for sponges. They keep water clean. Also help Corals recover faster from fragging and being banged around. Coral Vitalizer - Helps with color and Growth. I swear by the first 3. Not a 100% sold on Vitalizer though. I don't see much difference with or without it. As for dosing, I use about 50% - 75% of recommended. |

Xtra concentrate: This product enhances the colors of your stony corals. Improves all kind of color significantly. Improves coral growth enormously. Improves vitality visibly. Dosage: 1 ml per 25 gallons daily. Xtra special concentrate: This product enhances the colors of your stony corals. Pohl's Xtra Special concentrate is specially designed for very low nutrient tanks that have pale corals. Improves all kind of color significantly. Improves coral growth enormously. Improves vitality visibly. Dosage: 1 ml per 25 gallons daily So basically, special thickens the tissue to overcome pale coral syndrome. Here's some basics about all (includes xtra conc but not special): http://www.zeovit.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10354 HTH ![]() Depends on what you want to accomplish. If you want ULNS using zeo method, the reactor and the zeolite are must. If you want to dose things like coral snow, coral vitalizer, xtra, etc, its not needed. Reactors have become cheaper now-a-days as long as you dont go after KZ's which are still extremely expensive. You can get fish-street's for $100 shipped and vertex for around $180.
