They probably get them shipped if you can't find locally. We get them all the time in Ontario and quality just keeps getting better.

Sounds like you are correct because the last clams I got where shipped from the east I don't hit up the local store to often. From what I see on the online sites in the east our stores just don't compare.

Last time I got a clam in bc was from ocean aquatics. It has been closed for over a year now anyone ever see them at jl or king eds ?
