I've never set up a closed loop. Never liked them. Never wanted one on my system. Now if you want a WP powerhead set up, I'm your guy ;P

According to reeflo website
A dart uses 148watts/3600gph at zero head pressure which a closed loop is at.
Mp40 uses 9-28 watts according to JL
The hydor power heads also use nothing the 1500 gph evolution uses 6watts.

The power difference is a fair amount but not a huge $$ difference . Where We live it will be around $6/month

Yes, I meant the WP40 setup, not the closed loop, its already there. The debate inside my head is basically "to closed loop or not to closed loop" lol. Also maybe some kind of assistance with the Neptune controller too
